Challenge 61 - for someone special

Hiya peeps!

Lalalalalalalalalala! I'm singing to take my mind off the fact that its Christmas next week! Yipes who knew that it was round the corner! I mean no one told me that its so soon, as usual not a thing here is ready.... which I'm sure surprises you all not one iota ;)) Still in my defence I have been busy helping other people prepare for their Christmases! So I think my usual preparations of say... two days will have to suffice. I mean I suppose I should actually write some cards and then post them ~sighs~ well there's always tomorrow isn't there? Oh and lets hope we don't get this stinking snow they've threatened us with!!! All the ice is bad enough, my car doors and boot were frozen solid this morning. I thought I was going to have crowbar them open.

Right many thanks to you all who came to play last week, the random picky think fair groaned at all the names. But he behaved and he picked Tasha - email me your details and I'll sort you out those sparkles!

Right onto this weeks challenge. Well seeing at its Christmas soon - are you sure its really next week?? We'd like to see something for someone special. Now this can be anyone who is special to you. This week the winner will receive a beautiful pack of 'Me and my big ideas' paper. Its lush and it will be dry by the time you get it... I only licked it a bit.... I cut my tongue on the paper...

Now this challenge will run until 2011! Well actually the 8th January to be precise. I'm being kind and giving the Gorjussettes time off for good behaviour. Something called ... er... it'll come to me.... lalalalalala Oh yes Christmas!

Anyway enough from me here the inspiration from the fantastic Gorjussettes;

So FAB-U-LOUS huh? Please call at the Gorjussettes blogs and leave them a little lurve ;)) I know they'd love it. Share your special creations with us - there's a prize remember.

So please let me wish you all a super Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Many thanks to you all who come and play with us every week - without you we wouldn't be here!

Oh as always new creations only, no back dating folks! Please link to your entry and not your whole blog.

Challenge 60 - Snow!

Hi there peeps! I hope you're all fine and snow free this week? We've got a few dribs and drabs left, well apart from the mountain that got dug off the drive! I think that little baby will take a bit of shifting ;)) I seriously need you all to hope we don't get any more though! I have a BIG surprise planned for my OM for next week - snow will seriously ruin it ;(( So no snow for here please Mr Weatherman ;)) Oh and fingers crossed this stinker of a cold goes too, I mean three weeks for a cold? How can that be fair? I look as if I'm getting into the Christmas spirit by doing a fair impression of Rudolph, well in the red nose part anyway. Don't worry I'm not growing antlers.

So thanks as always to our players from last week. I'm always surprised how everyone interprets the sketches differently. So the lucky winner as picked by the RPT is Fairy Email me your details with the challenge number in the title line and I'll get your prize sorted for you. I know a couple of peeps are waiting on stuff from em - I'm sorry but my list is getting way out of order ~blushes~ I'll sort it out soon.

Right what would we like to see this week? Well snow of course! But only on your entries! NO SNOW ANYWHERE ELSE! This week we're kindly sponsored by Meyer Imports, their German glass glitter is just amazing! Its so sparkly you need shades on!

So here's the snowy inspiration from the Gorjussettes;

So there you are - inspired by all that lovely snow? Oh that's the best place for it in my opinion. On a card!

So please enter via Mr Linky and link to your entry and not your blog. New stuff only please and no backdating.

Challenge 59 - sketch

Howdy doody Gorjusseroos! Oh my but its cold! We have so much snow here, that's me Net by the way, my car is firmly stuck on the drive. I think the three feet of snow behind it and the couple of feet covering it may have something to do with it! We have so much of it, personally I was fed up of it five minutes after the first flake fell! So now I want it all to go away!

A bit of Harry news for you - thank you so much for your good wishes. She is much better, not 100% yet but certainly stacks better than last week. I think she just wants her Momma grey haired and bankrupt!

So a couple of bits of news for you. This week we have a special guest designer none other than the wonderfully talented Rach Jakes who has turned my easy peasy little sketch into something fantastic. Then we have a new Guest Gorjussette. I'd like to thank all of you who applied. You are all so clever and talented - thank you thank you for wanting to join us. Sadly I wasn't able to pick you all. Our first Guest Gorjussette wanted to come and play straight away - so please welcome Karina!

So thanks to those who played last week - I didn't know you could use trees in so many ways! The RPT has done his stuff, once I'd brushed the snow off, and he's picked Kimmi Email me with the challenge number in the title and I'll sort your prize.

Right this week then - its a sketch. Its mine so obviously its easy ;)) Once again we're sponsored by the fabulous Joanna Sheen The lucky winner will receive a £10 voucher for her online shop. Now Joanna has some truly tempting things in there! Plus her delivery is super duper quick. I've even had an order come the next day! I mean how good is that? Very good that's how. So I bet you're almost asleep now....

That got your attention then!

So the sketch...
The inspiration....

So fab huh? Oh and that's despite Mr Blogger playing silly beggars! I mean why would I pick the order for my photos for him to randomly arrange them as he thinks fit in duplicate??? huh?

Anyway there they are.

So remember there's £10 of crafting goodies coming your way if you win and you have to be in it to win it as they say!

Challenge 58 - Oh Christmas tree!

Hiya Gorjusseroos - oh no as I type this the snow is falling! Yipes I really really really don't want any of it! Not one teeny tiny flake, no Sirree Bob (who is Sirree Bob by the way?) You see me and himself both have rear wheel drive cars... they hate snow too! Good planning not! And I've still got a poorly little Harry and I hope we don't have to rush to the vets tomorrow.... So we'd appreciate a few prayers and loving wishes for her please.

This is Harry - yes she is a girl but she's Harry ;)) And at the minute she's poorly :((

Isn't she the most gorgeous little chickie?

Anyway.... sorry for my self indugence.

Right a big thanks to all who came to play last week, there were some spectacular entries - thank you so much for sharing them with us. Unfortunately there is only one winner. The Random Picky Thing has done his stuff and he's picked Little K Smith Email me your details and include the challenge number in the title line please.

Right so what would we like to see this week? Well no snow for sure... oops sorry that's just me not wanting any snow ;))

This week we want to see a tree on your card, easy huh? Our kind sponsor this week is Cupids Clear Stamps

As usual the Gorjussettes have done wonders, you can check their cards out closer on their blogs - they'd love a visit if you can ;))

So fab huh? So come and show us your trees too! Remember those stamps as a prize!

Please new work only and no back dating.

Challenge 57 - not so traditional

Hiya Gorjusseroos!

I hope I find you all well and not too cheesed off with the weather. I really hope none of you are affected by the horrid floods some parts of the country are having. We've got it foggy, cold and wet in my part of the world. However I do have to say I seem to be getting a bit of tan despite the distinct lack of sunlight. How so I can hear you ask.... well its being behind all these cars with their fog lights on! I mean when its really foggy yes. But when its not, well its easy SWITCH THEM OFF!!! Its stupid and incredibly awful for cars behind you. There were loads with them on on the motorway tonight. I mean visibility was down to about a mile and the traffic was almost bumper to bumper.....

Right rant over!

Big thanks to all the players from last week, there were some lovely cards! So who's the lucky winner as picked by the lovely RPT? Well his gaskets were well tweeked this week, he held on though and he picked San Email me please San and include the challenge number in the title and I'll sort your prize out.

So what would we like to see this week? Well last week was traditional colours so this week we'd like to see the not quite so traditional colours. Once again this week we're sponsored by Crafters Companion - the winner will receive a voucher for £10 to spend in their on line shop! And trust me you'll be spoilt for choice! Sarah certainly has plenty to choose from.

So lets see what the Gorjussettes have made to inspire you;

So pretty darn fab huh?

We'd love to see what you make in non traditional colours too! Remember as always there's a prize!

Please enter new work only, no back dating folks rules is rules you know. If you'd like a comment please turn word verification off - its makes commenting much easier for us. As always link to your entry and not your whole blog.

Challenge 56 - traditional Christmas colours

Howdy there peeps! I hope you've all got your hatches battened down! My word has it been windy or what! That's right its been W I N D Y!!! We live quite high up and its certainly been rather breezy to say the least. In fact I did think of putting some laundry out to dry.... except I don't think I had enough pegs to keep it on the line! Plus the torrential showers did put me off somewhat ;)) And its been cold too. We've had our first hard frost too... and the dark nights.... yak! Roll on summer I say.

Well thanks to all of you who came and played with my little sketch last week. You made it look very special indeed, thanks again to Kim So I did the random picky thing and he behaved himself remarkably well, he didn't throw any nasty notes at me this week either ;)) He was very good and he picked Shelly Email me Shelly and include the challenge number in your title please. I can then sort you out your prize. I ask for those details, I hate getting them mixed up with all my emails about the African lottery wins. I'm just not sure when I bought the tickets but I've got $450,000,000 dollars in a bank account..... apparently!

Right enough drivel, are you still awake? Well this week we'd like to see you use some traditional colours on your Christmas cards. Now all these Christmassy challenges are excellent (for me) I've never been so far ahead with my cards! Thanks me! This week we're sponsored by Lili of the Valley and the winner will get a stamp from the recent magnolia Christmas kit too! That part of the prize is courtesy of my good buddy Debbie so a double win!

So here's what the Gorjussettes have made;

So pretty fab huh? I love these rich traditional colours. So we'd love to see what you come up with, and hey I need a few new ideas myself! Oops I didn't realise I'd actually typed that! It was a thought really...

Remember there;s some super stamps for the lucky winner.

Challenge 55 - sketch

Howdy there all you Gorjuss people out there in Blogland. I do hope none of you got too spooked last week? Well I went and bought spooky little sweets and such like for our little Halloween visitors...... I've still got every single one of them! Why I hear you cry? (I can't hear you....) Ahh that's better you were much louder that time! Well I got mixed up (I'm blonde remember) and was out so I left said sweeties and Himself in charge.... Well he had the football on so loud he never heard the bell! So anyone for a spider sweet? Jelly worm? Chocolate eyeball? Witches finger? No?? You sure? I wonder if they'll keep till next year.....

So thanks to all who played last week. Now I'm sure you all want to know the lucky winner of those beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts Well I wrote my name out 50 times and threw them in the random picky thing.... He threw them straight back at me with a message! It said 'CHEAT!!!' Then another one which said 'DO IT AGAIN'.... so I did.... ~sighs~ I wubs them flowers.... anyway when I put all the proper names in he picked Beverley Email me your details with the challenge number and I'll sort you out with the flowers.

So seeing as I'm not getting those flowers we'll crack on with this weeks challenge, its a sketch. Nice and easy, blonde here remember ;)) Now this week we're sponsored the fabulous Joanna Sheen This week the winner will get a £10 spend in her super stocked shop. Fab huh? Her service is super quick too, I've even had stuff delivered the next day! Good huh?

Anyway this is the sketch....

And I'd like to introduce our guest designer for this month - none other the the super talented Kim Piggott Kim very kindly agreed to do us a guest spot for our sketch challenge. Now when she emailed me her card I emailed her straight back! Surely this beautiful creation wasn't from my easy little sketch?? It is though, luscious isn't it? Thanks again Kim.

Here's what the Gorjussettes have done too

So pretty fab huh? I think that Kim and the Gorjussettes (Oh doesn't that sound like a 60's girl band?) have made a grand job of my little old sketch. Oh a little confession from me - that's my second card.... I used the wrong sketch the first time! I mean I only draw them.... ~blushes~ blonde though remember!

So remember there's that £10 voucher at Joanna Sheens for the winner ;))

Oh wow readers what a day! Now how spooky is this eh? Just as I'm about to do the challenge t'internet broke! Yup the whole of t'internet for the North of England - yipes! How on earth did I do that? now 'onest it weren't me what broke it.... well I think it wasn't me anyway.... in fact I'm sure it wasn't.... ~whistles~ Anyway i was out all day so I've only been able to do the challenge now, I've got my fingers crossed it doesn't break again. And believe me typing with your fingers crossed is pretty difficult. I'm getting more spelling mistakes than usual ;))

Anyway enough of those spooky things - thank you very much I need t'internet - I mean it has all my friends in it!

So huge thanks to all of you who came to play last week! My eyes ache from the sparkle you all showed us. Really really lovely. So the poor old random Picky Thing almost blew a gasket when I chucked in all the names. He coughed ans spluttered and gave me a name, its Anne! Please email me and give the challenge number and I'll sort your prize out for you.

So what would we like this week? Well its Halloween this weekend so it can only be Spooky! Which is highly appropriate seeing as I spookily broke t'internet ;)) Now just in case you find that scary we have a super sponsor this week which will surely make you feel better. This week we're sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts, that's right the super suppliers of the most beautiful flowers! behold the flowers.... and stuff!

How fabulous!

Now the Gorjussettes cards are scarily good as always.

So prepare to be scared.... er I mean inspired!

So aren't they fab huh? So we'd love to see your cards for either Halloween or if that's not your 'thing' something scary or spooky! Oh remember those flowers....

So please enter via our good friend Mr Linky and link to your entry and not your whole blog.

Oh I've just one more thing to say to you...
